Both parties have their great ideas and slightly less better ideas. Maybe if they decided to at least listen to themselves, they can actually help fix the nation instead destroying it with their petty arguments. I get they have their differences, but to be totally honest, they're making the nation worse, not better as they think are. Lashing out at every idea they propose, even if its a good one that can promote wellness to our country, is no way to help the country as you think you are. Also, I understand your religion does not support LGBT, but America is a free country promoting the freedom or religion and beliefs. America is run on freedom, not your specific beliefs, but all of them. Some gay people may not believe in what you do. they may have a totally different beliefs, but that's acceptable because of the first amendment. This is my opinion, as yours is you own opinion. I did not mean to attack your beliefs if you feel attacked. That was not the purpose of this comment, just to share my thoughts.

I agree with Chassity, and do not agree with the Republicans wanting to shut down Planned Parenthood. They help so many women get birth control, and that means they prevent an abundance of abortions.

each party has something good to offer and something bad to offer; but I prefer the GOP because they prefer that we AMERICANS WORK FOR OURSELVES and not give HANDOOUTS; my friends tell me many people they know REFUSE TO GET A JOB BECAUSE THE GOVERMENT TAKES CARE OF THEM; REALLY, Dems? YOU WORK YOUR A.. OFF AND THEN GIVE IT AWAY TO THE LAZY AND GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS? that is what you prefer????????

What exactly is your interpretation of "many" in fact what is your "friends" interpretation of many? Ever play the telephone game? Your friend might consider 3 people "many" and your interpretation of many might be 20 people. And then My interpretation of many might be 100,000 people. "we AMERICANS WORK FOR OURSELVES and not give HANDOUTS" so what you are saying is people giving handouts aren't American? Oh no I'm sure you mean "and not (get) HANDOUTS" so the people getting handouts aren't Americans then? And not only they aren't Americans but also they are all "LAZY AND GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS"? So what you are saying is you have personally surveyed everyone receiving aid from the government and all of them are non-American good-for-nothings? I see.... "Dems"??? Not to be stereotypical like you are being judging by your name and the use of the "word" Dems I'm going to guess that you are African-American? How would you feel if I said that I'm 1000% sure that somewhere down the line of your family one of your relatives have had to rely on some form of government aid of some kind??? i love republicans they have good ideas i moved from one country that they think like democrats and it socks .why mail dogs don't go after mail dogs or any animal they choose there opposite sex because that is the right thing even animals understand this .also why make the children know the difference beetwin man and woman

It seams like republicans believe "you get what you deserve". If you work hard you get paid what you deserve and can afford health care, food, to take care of family, etc. if you don't work you deserve to not have health care, food, to take care of family. If you get pregnant by accident or rape you get what you deserve by having a child you don't want. As a Christian I'm told I don't get what I deserve because I deserve to go to hell because I was born a sinner but because of God's mercy and grace I get to live forever with Him in heaven. So really as a Christian we believe we don't get what we deserve because of Gods love for us so I am confused why so many Christians claim they are republicans and believe everyone should get what they deserve

@ Sara : You seem to have been taught the wrong principals of Christianity. Just because you are called or considered to be a Christian does not mean that you will enter into the gates of Heaven to be with the Father. There are other things that you stated as well that are arguable. Please... read the Bible for yourself. Make that journey to grasp greater knowledge for yourself. It will greatly improve your understanding friend.
