@ Abby : Abby everyone knows that some things are wrong but the decision of who someone marries is not up to the public it is up to said individual to think that anyone has a say on that besides the 2 people involved doesn't understand that it is not their place to say. I understand why some may think it's wrong and true against the natural order but since when is it anyone's right to judge. On abortions the matter stands it is not right I understand that some feel it is their place to say that they don't want their child because they aren't ready but it is not fair to steal a life that cannot speak for it self on it's own behalf. Personally if they didn't want a child for said reason they should have either kept it in their pants or used protection it is not the child's fault it is the parents.

@ Abby : So gay marriage is wrong because you said it is?? Also, you sound like a complete idiot. You basically believe that gay marriage is wrong because two people of the same sex can't have a biological child? Grow up!

@ Anonymous : I agree with you about gay marriage but your views on abortion are so traditional and close minded. People that get abortions do not do so because "they don't want their child" they do so because they take very seriously the myriad responsibilities that come with raising a child. Women who get abortions are not ready either emotionally, mentally, or financially and they feel that it would be unfair to bring a child into the world when they would not be able to provide a satisfactory environment to raise said child. Also saying "they should have kept it in their pants or used protection" is so ignorant, and I mean that in the kindest way possible. First of all, sex is a natural thing so saying "keep it in your pants" is ridiculous. Secondly, maybe they did use protection, condoms only work 90% of the time. Also, do you not understand that women also get pregnant due to rape? In this case the woman clearly had no intention of getting pregnant or even having sex, it was forced upon her. Personally if I was pregnant because I was raped I wouldn't want to have that child because not only would it pain me that that's what that child represents, it would also pain me because I know that I wouldn't love that child as fully as I could because of the way I became pregnant. So taking all of these things into consideration, no abortion is not wrong, it is a right and choice that every women should be allowed.

@ Anonymous : I agree with you somewhat but again abortion is not so black and white... not everyone engaged in sexual activity willingly and also some have used protection and it failed. Abstinence in todays world is unlikely with all of the sexually suggestive material that everyone has to deal with on a daily basis.

@ Landon : Your church is wrong. Why would they dismiss sinners, when we are all sinners? I thought the Christian religion forgave sins. Ask the pastor, or preacher, whomever why this is so in your church. I mean, you would think churches would gladly accept sinners, since everyone is one. Also, the bible references no sin being greater than the other. Jesus said something in relation to that when the men wanted to judge the unclean woman.

@ anonymous : I think people fighting over gay marriage is getting people nowhere. My own opinion on gays is that I don't like it very much, although I can live with it so I don't attack them with the words of God.

@ brenden : Well, here's a question.... Who do you think the "billion dollar corporations" employ? What happens when you keep taking from those companies and they eventually shut down? How many middle class are now forced out of a job cuz they wanted to bite the hand that fed them? Do you realize that when you raise the minimum wage too much that the price of production goes up as well? Ever take economic class? So even though you may make more money in your check, things are going to just end up costing more anyways. And why does it seem fair to cut taxes only for the middle and low income but raise the taxes for the wealthy? That's not fair. The business owners worked for their money just like we do, most of the time they worked harder than we did, which is why they are where they are. They started from nothing, risked everything and hoped to succeed...Why not equally tax everyone? You'll automatically get more money from the wealthy because they make more, instead of making them suffer for actually succeeding. That's what America is all about. Being able to live your own life and make something of yourself, if you choose to. And who's more "money hungry" the person who works hard for their money and wants to be taxed fairly or the person who wasn't willing to work as hard but has their hand out always asking for something "free".

@ MH : 1.) Most wealthy people that have these large corporations have had it handed to them on a silver platter. Granted somewhere along the line one of their distant relatives either got lucky or fought for it or were smart back in the day. Most of today's upper class have all had it handed to them in one way or another. Someone has been watching too many movies. 2.) How dare you think that just because people aren't wealthy and own fortune 500 companies they are sitting their with their hands out asking for something free. I was born into poverty and have never even attempted to get and government help except for the two months I was homeless and on the street because false accusations landed me in jail long enough for me to loose my job which led to me loosing my home. Both before and after that I have worked my ass off to makes mince meat and all it took was one call to the police on false pretense just because a woman was mad at me to get jail time awaiting trial because I was too broke to post bail to loose it all. Everyone has their stories of why they are where they are so don't just lump everyone together as a bunch of bums on the street looking for a handout. Even then most of the bums on the street are US veterans that fought for your country so you can have your rights but you wouldn't know that because everyone just avoids eye contact and rushes off. 3.) actually look into what you are talking about.... one party wants equal taxation across the board as in a percent of their income. The other party wants lower taxes and more tax write-offs for big corporations. Just because this simple fact: say everyone gets taxed 10% of their income. To someone who makes $1,000 a month that is only $100 but to someone that makes $10,000 that's $1,000 in taxes. Just because they are being taxed more dollars doesn't make it not fair the percentage is their to make it fair. Which is what one party mostly agrees on. The other side says hey why are these guys paying $1,000 in taxes when these poor people only pay $100? We should tax poor people 20% and only tax rich people 5% that way everyone is paying a little bit closer amount..... how the hell does that seem fair? You say " Middle class is biting the hand that fed them like the middle class is seeing any of that money no its going toward the government. Middle class doesn't see any of that money. Get you facts straight there is nobody trying to "raise that taxes for the wealthy and lower them for middle class". Its quite the opposite of that little idea you have in your mind of how the world works.
