I'm not sure what I am. I agree with some things on both sides. What does that make me? I traditionally just vote for who I think will do the best job. This is a hard election to choose anyone.

So what im seeing here is that Republicans care more on letting businesses prosper instead of letting people on the poverty line pay lower taxes "like me" :( I don't think Republicans give two f**ks about people like us which is really upsetting:(

People who want to write their bible into my government are missing the point of both. Might be time to review, kids. I realize for most of you it doesn't matter a damn bit in the long run. Really. That's your prerogative. I think those people should stay home on election day. I, however, got skin in the game. While the Dems are not all one could hope for, at least they don't try to convince me that I am not being screwed, so to speak. The Republicans can't seem to understand why I don't want to be a serf.

The United States is not so United? So what do you all agree on. I read that the best determining factor of whether or not a relationship will last is how well you disagree. This feels like a messy divorce. No surprise the front runners are opposite sexes.

It is a common misconception that Republicans do not care about people in poverty. In fact.. It is the very opposite. They believe in giving tax cuts to larger businesses etc. as an incentive for the business to have more money.. and in turn.. hire more man power to help expand their business. If you look historically. Every time a Democrat is elected as president, our economy becomes very stagnant. Corporate tax becomes much higher, resulting in lowering of hours and wages for workers. It has a negative effect on the economy. The affordable care act, as stated above. Has proven to be a very costly mistake. The legislation included employers providing health care to their full time workers. For most small businesses to avoid this very costly idea, they lowered their hours per week under 40 to avoid the costs. Democrats feel that a bigger, bloated government is the answer to peoples needs. They want to help people, most of the time with good intentions. However, they tend to restrict individual freedoms. They have created at first, global cooling, then global warming, now it's called climate change. This entire theory has been presented as factual, but there is no inclusive scientific proof to support it. Also it is important to keep in mind, that many main stream democrats have their campaigns funded by alternative energy companies. So of course they will push for it once placed into office. As far as gun control goes. It has been proven time and time again, that more gun control, means more crime. It is also important to note that technically any measures taken to control the sale of fire arms to the citizens of this country, is a direct violation of the 2nd amendment. No matter if you think people should have guns or not. This amendment is being violated and chipped away at, year after year. The amendment was not created so people could go hunting. The amendment is there because it allows the citizens to be armed. To protect ourselves from a possible tyrannical government.

Wow, I just had to write something when I saw a comment that said: "solution, lets become a socialistic society where everyone has to give one third of their income to the government for all these f****** programs the democrats want.". Actually yes, you should do that. At least that is what we in Norway have done, and we rank among the best countries to live in year after year. Heck, a lot of Scandinavian and even European countries are fantastic to live in because of their socialistic governments.

Having to read through the differences between these two party to find out more about them before making decision has really left me swinging left to right on both side. It really is a tough choice because both party because they both have some really good point on some issues and then there are some other which really pushes me away from it. So all in all i'm just gonna not get involve because they both have way too many different issue contradiction each other. Is there a a Repubmatic Party where both can just sit together as one and share each other's idea and put them into a solid compromise that can benefit both party on equal term? At first I was leaning toward republican and then some of the view on it really just pushes me away from it because it just doesn't feel right. And then on the democratic party I like some of they're view but some of it's other issue really just didn't sit right with me either. I feel like they're both just contradicting each other on certain issues
