bravo Frank, of the 50 plus comments I've read, yours (all of yours) were the most truthful, knowledgable, & unbiased. As for the labels "progressive" & "conservative", it is a common practice, no, a professional skill, commonly used by gov. , the judicial system, corp power,etc. to give common terms unknown definition. For example: person is defined in webster's ( most dictionaries) as an individual, a human. Black's law dictionary defines person as an entity, a corporation. Do any of you know what liberty means? The progressive wants to restrict liberty by legislating laws/statutes that change liberties into privileges that they grant or revoke (or use to legally extort money from the masses. The conservative wants the masses, each individual, to restrict and/or exercise his liberties on his own; and take responsibility for oneself. The laws and statutes (criminal and civil penalties) should only apply if, in exercising your liberties, you injure, damage,or violate another. -
What a biased article. You can certainly read between the lines and assume (correctly) that a republican wrote it. I do not agree that Democrats have the views you listed. I am a life long Democrat and I do not feel the way you describe on many of the issues as you wrote them. For instance, I don't believe in "strict gun control" laws. The only thing I favor is not selling automatic weapons. Any other choices should be left up to the owner. Have 10 guns, 100 guns, 1000 guns, I don't care. And I want the same freedom. Democrats also don't overwhelmingly agree about pro-choice. The Supreme Court ruled in Roe vs. Wade. Had nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats, Senators or Presidents....The United States Supreme Court ruled on this. There are many other items I disagree with you about but I am out of time tonight. Peace :)

Democrats and Republicans have important needs and wants (capitalism vs. sovereignty) to be met and stand strong in this. With these two at odds it will always be a fight for who and what is right for the citizens of the United States. United we stand. Divided we fall.

no doubt it is Informative....But one question...Are Republicans conservative only in social issues or also in foreign Affairs and other issues like minorities dealing??????

I googled these differences as now Trump is president..I can see pro's and con's on both sides. Abortion rules will create many issues as nobody can tell you what to do when your in this position...same sex partener ship also going to be an issue...the environment issue needs to be on top as the earth will get cranky if you drill to deep no matter what and nobody can control mother nature but being aware is imparitive to human survival on earth...money was created by humans.. and human survival ...on this earth right now..the true indigenious people of the earth will survive as they always have...because they know how to live on this amazing planet...and have done for ever..

Democatic is not equal they want to take away from a republician the hard long hours that they have worked to just give to a family of 10 that just sits back and collects that why they have so many kids because welfare gives them more money for more kids. Put it this way I knew a hard core drug addiction. Didn't have nothing lived on the streets.. He was sick of living such a poor life he got out there and bugged finally got a job he went from 0000 to supervisor. Now he has 2 kids a wife that has been there from the get go. So you can't tell me you can't get good jobs. My father I would say lives comfortable. But he worked his ass off getting their. I NEVER SAW HIM MUCH BECAUSE HE WORKED AND WORKED for what so people can tax his money I mean the goverment takes almost half of what he makes. So I just kills me to watch him being retired and being so stressed. Thankyou government.

As far as Im concerned my bigest issue is with the enviroment. I recicle every thing so to me if every body did the same and picked up trash wen they see it lying in the steet and also make an effort to create clean energy like solar energy which I have installed in my home. It really makes a difference. This planet is our home we have to take care of it or else we wont have a home
