I agree with Republicans about Capital Punishment. I actually agree with keeping the death penalty after reading what that John Wayne Gacy did.And I cant believe The Democrats dont want total innhililation of ISIL. Terrorist armies like that only get bigger if you dont use the Republicans strategy of total removal of the enemy. Democrats come across as not that smart in their syrategies.

I have been educated by this article. I've never been a strict party voter, and this has enlightened my aspect of being an informed voter. I appreciate this information.

At one time The Republican Party was considered the Party of the Loyal Opposition. That changed when its leadership chose to throw off its mantle as the Party of Lincoln and in turn embrace the devastation of their Southern Strategy and their empowerment of the Jim Crow South. This transition culminated in Ronald Reagan's States’ Rights speech near Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1980. His speech was an open invitation to Gov. Wallace 's and other racist supporters to join the Republican Party. The invitation was accepted and that is where the Republican Party finds itself today, radical and racist. For decades now our nation and its people have been under attack by the Republican Party and their history proves that point. It also proves how complicit many have been in these attacks. First the Republicans came for the poor and disenfranchised, and I didn’t speak out — Because I was neither poor nor disenfranchised. Then the Republicans joined with the Jim Crow States and came for the civil rights of my African American brothers and sisters and I didn’t speak out - Because I was not African American. Next the Republicans came for the workers and their unions and I didn’t speak out — Because I did not belong to a union. Then the Republicans came to draft me for their war of choice and aggression and I didn’t speak out - Because I had a deferment. Next the Republicans came for women’s rights and I didn’t speak out - Because I was not a woman Then the Republicans came for my Latino friends and neighbors and I didn’t speak out - Because I was not Latino Next the Republicans came for our Muslim friends and neighbors and I didn’t speak out - Because I was not a Muslim. Now the Republicans have come for the rest of us and brought with them their billions of dollars in wealth and power and are openly attempting to make its final corporate payment for their ownership of our country and control of its future. This time, if a majority of us don’t stand up, speak out and work to take back our government from the Corporate Republican Leadership, at the local, state and federal levels, it will take decades for us to get our country back, if, in fact, we will be able get it back at all.

I am an independent (an objective thinker, as I put it). While I believe people should help others in need, people should be able to help themselves. When they can't help themselves, then others SHOULD step up, though there should be no requirement to do so. Taxes should be the same, in all income wage earners, except the poor. I favor a minimum wage increase, because the cost of living keeps rising. Stop the inflation and let everyone have a chance at the "American Dream." I generally support Gay marriage, because people who are gay, love someone of the same gender. Also, this country was, in part, founded on non-discrimination, which I believe is also about same sex marriage. Personally, I struggle with this, as I also believe that homosexuality is not what God wanted, but it entered into our world. Hate the sin, but NOT the sinner! I'm not a supporter of abortion. I am also pro-life, and that means EVERONE'S life! I do not believe in the Death Penalty, but those that commit murder and such should be punished and have life in prison (no parole). Health care should be affordable, and ALSO should be monitored. I feel hospitals and some Doctors bill people and insurance companies for EVERYTHING they can! Greed increases dishonesty, and increases costs for everyone. Foreign Policy issues: I think we need to talk with our adversaries, yet state our indifferences. Some will also talk. But back a Bully in a corner, and he will fight! The environment should be protected, because if we don't, our world will not continue to be a place to sustain us. Our Kids futures should be our concern, and not just OUR own lives! I think student loans should be partially financed by the U.S. Government. At the same time, People need to take certain responsibility upon themselves, as nothing worth anything, is free. As long as individual liberties do not infringe on others, then, let people express themselves, so long as such activity doesn't break any laws. Is anyone reading this? I have read the different beliefs of each party and I am glad that I am a Democrat. While I do not support gays I also do not believe in interference as long as it doesn't involve me it's their and Gods business. And I am not for or against abortion what other woman do with their body is not for me to say I am not God. By the way I am female. But I do believe that if the Republicans read what we are about, I mean citizen Republicans they would change their mind and views on their party leaders that are only interested in what benefits them not the people. Come on do they really believe Trump cares about anyone?

If you like me are having problems with the two candidates of the two major parties, then I have a suggestion for you. Take 10-15 minutes out of your day and google up the beliefs of the Libertarian Party and read what they are truly about and then go to the site fairtax.org and read what they are about! Two things I constantly hear is we need a change in the way government is run and we need a new tax system. These two organizations are the best alternatives I've come across. I believe that a large majority of us are Libertarians at heart...we just didn't know it 'till now!

The very people depending on this post to guide their political preference are the same type people who can't think for themselves. They let a society which they believe is progressive thinking but is actually regressive in many ways guide their belief. That fact is, America is worse than the Nazi regime. We've killed millions of people (unborn babies) in the name of feminism, and yet the democratic party justifies it by saying it is because of rape or the safety of the mother giving childbirth. Well I myself don't actually know anyone in that position, I know of plenty of woman who just prefer to be promiscuous and have a abortion. It seems to me being progressive is the the new form of fascism.
