Although God loves all......to say God created a gay person is completely contrary to the Word of God. Understand that if we believe that theology....then because we are born with a sinful nature....my flesh would automatically say something is okay because God made me that way. There are several individual sins that are plainly spoken of in scripture that end with THESE WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD ( I Corinthians 6:9-11 ). This is a key verse becaue Paul says...and such were some of you...meaning lifestyles & choices PRIOR TO salvation in Jesus Christ. So if I am addicted to something...whether it be alcohol or fornication. My flesh will say God made me this way and therefore He understands and gives me a free pass. Not so; not with fornication, or any other type of sin whether it be sexual or not. Man perverts everything holy....wine out of a field is perverted at the right temperature for the right time with the right amount of sugar.....Marriage is perverted with the right judge at the right time...with people who do not have a clear understanding of Gods word. So they either deny Gods word OR they pervert it to fit their lifestyle or ideology. Mainstream Christianity today is I LOVE THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE....BUT I DONT AGREE WITH ALOT OF THE STUFF IN THE BIBLE. It is when the opportunity to sin presents itself....As a true believer in Christ....a Christian ( CHRIST-LIKE ) will deny & suppress the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life and choose Christ's way instead of our own. Let me be the 1st to say....I am not perfect & neither is anyone else....a homosexual sin is no different than a fornicator or adulterer etc. etc. It is understanding that as time goes on....sin is down played & before you know it....nothing will be called sin anymore. We are in a day & age that is along the lines of Judges 21:25-In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.---& for those who say....THAT WAS OLD TESTAMENT...here is 1 for you.....2 Timothy 3:1-5 God bless,

Everyone so concerned about homos, yet if a serial killer, rapist, or cannibal walk in the room, everyone is so forgiving, like "Oh, God will forgive your sins, come sit down next to me, I'll bake you an apple pie." Everyone is so willing to give killers a second chance, even tho they take pleasure in torturing people to death, eating their body parts and basically embody the whole essence of the devil himself. But a homo walks in the room, probably a regular guy that can't even hurt a fly, everyone is like "Booo, go to hell, eat shit and die." You're so worried about small details, you can't even see the big picture.

Maybe, people think being a serial killer is normal and acceptable, but being a homo is not normal. So, then that would basically mean, we are populated by a planet of latent serial killers. Jeez. twilight zone.

God created everyone the same, what is up with hatred, Lucifer is the true enemy, not any typical human with flaws. We each are unique with different strengths and weaknesses, that's why Christ came to pay the ultimate sacrifice, for our pass to heaven. People may discriminate someone for their difference, but they don't know that they're too busy looking into other's flaws, not their own. God views every sin the same, why do you think He said if you broke one law, it is as if you broke all of it?

I respect all Christian denominations but this article seemed one sided. As a catholic I don't think the article really understands how it functions. We have plenty similarities and I love my brothers and sisters. My faith as a catholic revolves around the gospel, scriptures, sacred tradition, the bible, catechism, Saints, apparitions, and prayer. I Feel I wasn't represented well in this article.

I think what you said was totally a vice versa. This is because, the pope is the one who said that Homosexuals should be given their rights. Not to support one side, I cannot disagree that some Christians have diverted from God's ways, but then they should no longer be called Christians. Because the one who is a Christian is the one who does what the Lord wants.

Baptism does not save you!! And, most Christians I know believe homosexuality is a sin.

I am from India and in my country catholic people worship Jesus Christ along with Mary and some other so called mothers. They establish idols for fathers and mothers who were in charge for the church.People use to go there and pray before their statues.I think this is absolute idolatry. Protestants consider God of Trinity as the one and only God,as their savior and they do not encourage any form of idolatry. Just giving info. I am a protestant and I bow my head only before Jesus Christ.

I know many people believe Catholics practice idolizations by worshiping other figures, but it's not that we are worshiping them. When we bow, it's a form of respect, which is why we also bow to the priest when he gives us our Eucherist. So when we bow to the other statues of saints and angels we are just giving them our respect for becoming closer to God. That is also why we pray to them, not so that ask them to make a miracle like Gods, but because when they asked God for the same favor, he listened to them. So if we pray to God to heal a loved one, we we might also ask saints to do us a favor by also asking God to heal them since they are closer to him. So its not that we believe the Saint, or angel, or Virgin Mary can heal our loved one, but we ask them to be messengers for us.

simply stated....Baptism is an outward manifestation of an inward change....
