I have several theories of where they're hiding: On a big box store rooftop, because whilst the Police are concentrating on the ground and searching vehicles, they could be holed up on a roof, and then breaking into the store at night, like a Walmarts which would give them access to food and sleeping bags. Or they found or knew of a bomb shelter, again instead of being on he ground they are under the ground, so essentially invisible. Or they found a boat or hijacked a boat, there's lakes and an ocean nearby. Or they went their separate ways because Police are looking for two so running solo would be less conspicuous. Or they're dressed as Muslim women and are walking around in broad daylight. Lastly, one of them killed the other because they just got annoyed with each other, especially since they heard on the news that Joyce Mitchell slept with both of them.

Very interesting. The famous Alkatraz escape is still my favorite. Sadly, the raft they used must have split at the seams therefore sending the three men into the frigid 50 degree water where two of the men dying from hypothermia perished. Latest evidence states their raft was discovered on Angel Island with footprints leading away. Sadly, that escapee died of hyperthermia when he had to re-enter the water on the other side. A Norwegian freight crew witnessed and reported seeing a body floating face down 20 miles away from SF bay. They also reported that the body was clothed in similar uniform as Alkatraz inmates wore.
