Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow

One of the two prime stations of the city of Lucknow, Charbagh Station's stone was laid in the year of 1914 and it was finished in 1923. Having a look of a palace from outside, the station has a mix of Awadhi, Mughal and Rajput architecture. Most amazing part about this station is that you can see aerial view of its building as a chess board. The pillars and domes of the building look like pieces from a chess game.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

Constructed in 1887 and designed by William Stevens, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is more an old and historic railway station in the city of Mumbai. It serves as the headquarters of Indian Central Railways. Initially known as the Victoria Terminus (VT), this busy railway station was given the name of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in the year of 1996. The station is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
