Is there anything about the magical world of 'Harry Potter' that we don't already know? It seems impossible given the number of times we've all seen the movies or read the books. But did you know all 10 of these facts?
Part 1
Surprising Deaths
Author J.K. Rowling has admitted that she once thought about killing Ron Weasley out of sheer spite. She also planned to kill Arthur Weasley in 'The Order of the Phoenix' but decided to kill Sirius Black instead.
Birthdays
The Weasley twins--Fred and George--were born on April Fool's Day. How appropriate!
Trains
All the half numbers of platforms at King's Cross are used by wizards and witches. For example, platform 7 1/2 is the Orient Express.
Black Names
Almost all the members of the Black family are named after constellations.
Quidditch
There are over 700 fouls in the popular wizard game called Quidditch.
Husbands
While she never changed her maiden name, Minvera McGongall was in fact married. Her husband died from a poisonous spider bite.
Voldemort's Age
Going by the book's timeline, Voldemort died at the age of 71.
Heroes
Harry, Hermione and Ron all eventually got their own chocolate frogs for ending Voldemort's plans.
Different Names
In the earliest stages of the novels, several characters had different name such as: Hermione Puckle, Neville Puff, and Draco Spinks.
Portraits
