May I laugh at the majority of the "Im a sociopath guys pls. I hrt ppl", lol.... No, if you actually were you wouldn't give a damn. After all, people are just people. If you hurt one, it's not like they were meant to be in your life anyways. They were only in your life for the purpose of teaching you how to deal with the next human being who happens to appear in your life. I think, it would be a benefit in some ways to be a sociopath. If you read War of The Worlds, and even remembered the part where the narrator brings up a scientist's article, you'd realize that love and sex drive are truly primal, and unnecessary to certain extents. We feel guilt because we fear that in hurting another, we will lose a bond. I would love to say that there are people who don't care about that, but.. I'm the only one it seems. Haha, maybe I'm a sociopath! Maybe I use emotion to obtain more knowledge on how to deal with social situations. Maybe I'm smart but I don't use my intellectual capabilities to further advance academically. :^) Maybe I've got tons of valuable knowledge up in my noggin' but I just don't use it unless I'm thinking of ways to get out of specific situations. Oh goodness me. Maybe we're all crazy. But it doesn't matter. Life expectancy is about 70-80, that's as long as we get to live. May as well make the best of it, even if that means being a sociopath.

The only victims aren't those hurt by these disorders. The sociopath/psycopath doesn't want to be the way they are.

For those of you worried you meet this description or might be a "sociopath" you're not. A sociopath would never think that they were, hence, making them a sociopath

My 15 year old daughter is a sociopath. My heart breaks more & more each day. It's hard to know that nothing I can do will help her. She doesn't believe that she is doing anything wrong. She manipulates people to get her way. When she doesn't, all hell breaks loose. She tried to choke me and told me she was going to kill me. When she lived here with us, She would slap her baby sisters in the face, push them down to the ground, kick them...(they were 3 & 4 years old ...and younger) she didn't see anything wrong with that. The first time she went to juvenile after an attack on our family, she told the counselor that for the last two weeks she had been planning to murder her 4 year old sister. Her plan was to stay awake until everyone in the house was asleep. Then she would go into her sister's bedroom and choke her to death while she was sleeping. The counselor asked her why she wanted to do that. My daughter said it was because her little sister annoys her, & follows her around trying to be like her, and she didn't like that.

Reason why I researched this? I'm writing a book and just a major set back. My character is capable of love, can be charming when she wants to be, is a VERY good liar, but can feel guilt and remorse when she hurts someone close to her. And the biggest thing; when she kills someone, she doesn't feel anything for them except disgust for seeing their entrails. She doesn't lose sleep over it, isn't haunted by the after images, doesn't think about their families and what they may be going through because of their death; nothing. The only thing she feels is confusion and concern for not feeling guilt. Except, if she KNEW the person and/or was close to that someone, THEN it'll haunt her. That's a major character trait for her, and now i have no idea if i should label her as a sociopath or not, because she is NOT a psychopath. Oh, and she's not antisocial whatsoever. I have no idea what i should label my character as, help. .________.
