@ : When you first start having sex you will sometimes get small tears inside and will cause pain when walking, peeing, as well as having sex. To avoid these small tears you need to be wet during sex, these tears are happening from skin rubbing skin or skin rubbing latex. The more lubricated you are inside your vagina, the less it will hurt after sex. And if his penis is not clean or if he is sticking fingers in you that are not clean, then you will probably get a bacteria infection. Sometimes those infections clear up on their own after 3-5 days, other times they get more serious. They usually only get more serious if you keep irritating them and not letting them clear up.

I wish I had someone telling me that was normal when I was 12.. You probably slept in your bathing suit for too long or didn't wash it properly, don't just use your hands ladies, really wash it with a washcloth. Also, if proceeds longer than a week, tell mom. I promise she will understand

@ : This is happening because you are not lubricated enough and there's too much friction. The fix is plain and simple, you need to get more wet. As you become aroused your vagina wall expands a little too which helps and having an orgasm before penetration will help even more. Also if there is a lot of foreplay involving his hands then his hands need to be clean, any bacteria under his nails will give you an infection that will cause burning when you pee, also if he doesn't clean himself very well it will cause the same problem.

@ : How swollen is it? Is it swollen to the point that it hurts? Or does it just look bigger than the other? How much bigger than the other lip is it? What first happened when it became swollen, do you remember swimming or using a different soap than normal? Do you have an odor?

I am 27. Yesterday I began to itch on the clitoris area. I searched online and based on what I read I figured I had a yeast infection so I went to the drug store and got some off brand anti itch cream and off brand 1 day treatment for yeast infection. It came in a plunger form to be inserted into the vagina at night. I slept fine but woke up to my vagina being extremely swollen and red. I am so uncomfortable what can I do?????

I've had this itchiness in the vaginal area on and off Today, I checked it out in the mirror and noticed that my right lip was swollen and red. It still itches but I'm trying not to scratch it. What should I do? I don't want to tell my mom or go to the doctor ? Will it stop ? Will it ever go away?

@ : Keep the area clean with warm water and very gentle soap. Don't use soap that has a fragrance. When you go to the bathroom, try to let it drip dry instead of rubbing dry toilet paper on it, your skin sounds irritated and dry paper will make it worse. Keep your panties clean and change them daily as well, especially if you are drip drying. The article says to pee and then rinse off, but who wants to jump into the shower every time they pee? You can use baby wipes if they are for sensitive skin and fragrance free.
