You have mentioned about almost all possible ways of accessing any blocked sites.Earlier I used free proxy but had few issues with privacy. Then one of my friends who has completed his BSc on Computer Science suggest me to use paid VPN service. Then I start using Hide-My-IP as he suggested. It is cheap and effective. Even I can access Netflix from outside US, when other VPN like HMA can't provide this facility.

I don't understand why you mention VPN at the last point. In my opinion VPN is the most effective an easy way to access any blocked site.It may cost you a little but can provide the best result. I have been using Hide-My-IP for more than six much and brought lifetime subscription at $29.95.

Agree with Jems, VPN should be the first option.
