Good List but really this should be entitled, most famous "classical" violinists. In terms of name recognition and general popularity, the only two violinists from this list would be Joshua and Itzhak. Missing are Vanessa-Mae and David Garrett. But the current most popular by worldwide name recognition is ..... Lindsey Stirling. She now has 1 BILLION views on YouTube. 1 Billion! No one else is even remotely close. That is called popularity, not greatness. Niccolo Paganini is rolling over in his grave, but those are the facts people. Live with it.

@ Ellie Light : I know right, that is the one person I was looking for because I really thought she would be on this list. But yes, it should be called CLASSICAL violinists because I am in 7th grade and the only violinist I really know is Lindsey Stirling, she is my idol, right after my teacher, Mrs. Hoppe.
